Apeiron – the philosophical expression of an endless, unlimited mass, subject to neither old age nor decay, where every existent being derives and where it ends up. First mentioned by the pre-Socratic philosopher Anaximander, the Apeiron is related to philosophical theories especially of time and the origin of our universe.
Apeiron – the album by Darage Bang – sends its listeners on a journey to the edges of their inner Apeiron. To their very own source of being, their conscience and beyond. Rythm is reduced to minimalistic structures that break up flows instead of being the leading structure of the music. Harmonies and analog bass-lines are the protagonists of the 10-track record, available with this podcast.

Welcome to my podcast!
Darage Bang is my most passionate project I run in my spare time. By day I work as a graphic designer, by night either I sit down and do doodles and digital paintings, or – more often – I plug in my guitar and produce ambient music.
I really can’t clearly define my musical style. Of course there are many ambient influences starting with Budd and Eno, Steve Roach or David Sylvian and everything from the electronic universe. But I also love Nine Inch Nails, Tweaker and Ministry. I’m still a fan of good Rock and Metal, I love Jazz from Esbjörn Svensson Trio, classics form Elgar and Holst and last but not least I really have fun with Ska- and Skate-Punk.
